Mil-Spec Connectors

Military Specification (MS) connectors are designed for reliable performance in harsh environments, including vibration, moisture, dust, and temperature extremes. All MS connectors must meet strict MIL standards, and compliant products remain interchangeable.
The most commonly used MS standards are:
MIL-DTL-5015 — rugged connectors for general-purpose power and signal, widely used in industrial and legacy systems. Available in solder and crimp.
MIL-DTL-26482 Series I — compact, bayonet-coupling connectors for signal applications, available in solder and crimp.
MIL-DTL-26482 Series II — improved sealing with rear-release crimp contacts for easier maintenance. Common in aerospace and defence.
MIL-DTL-38999 Series I–IV — high-performance connectors for severe environments, with strong resistance to vibration, ingress, and EMI/RFI.
Within each family there are numerous connector styles and options — consult us for more details.
Connection Technologies also represents DMC Tools, a leading manufacturer of crimp and assembly tooling for these connectors.
